Central Waste Water Treatment Plant
Electrical Upgrades
Nashville, TN

The purpose for this facility is to treat residential and industrial sewage from Metropolitan Nashville and discharge into the Cumberland River adjacent to the site. The scope of this project is to upgrade the electrical distribution system so that it becomes more flexible and reliable.

The major components of this project include replacement of the main 13.8 kV distribution switchgear, installing a 480-volt unit substation, 15 kV pad-mounted switches and load interrupter switchgear, testing of existing 15 kV cable and replacing if necessary, and new underground 13.8 kV distribution routes to create overall system reliability.
