Fort Knox Human Resource Center of Excellence
New Headquarters Complex
Fort Knox, KY

The scope of work includes providing a new headquarters complex for the Human Resource Center of Excellence consisting of administrative facilities to house directorates of the U. S. Army Human Resources Command, U.S. Army Accessions Command, and U.S. Army Cadet Command with a gross area of 883,180 SF and a net useable area of 713,678 SF in a six building arrangement. The project includes all parking, sitework, landscaping, utilities and other infrastructure required to make this a complete and operating facility. The design also includes a new 50,000 SF Data Center, an integral part of the office complex.

The campus is organized into two, V-shaped structures called “chevrons”, each containing one of the two commands. The campus is broken into six different buildings, each containing directorates.

All site elements and building design reviewed for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection compliance and conform to the DoD Anti-terrorism Standards for Buildings. The proposed layout of the site and building addresses all concerns and requirements of the ADA.
