I. C. Thomasson provided mechanical and electrical engineering for a new 1,428 bed prison in Morgan County that co-locates with the Brushy Mountain Site 2 existing medium security prison. The existing population of 1,000 inmates and 300 staff will increase to a projected 2,400 inmates and 800 staff members.
