Hassenfeld Library & Tibbott Center for the Visual Arts
I. C. Thomasson designed the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering systems for the new 20,000 SF Hassenfeld Library and the new 30,000 SF Tibbott Center for the Visual Arts at University School of Nashville.
• Elevated two-story wing connects the new three-story building with the existing historic facility
• Library control system ties into the Building Automation System and enables complete monitoring and control of all building HVAC systems from the main server
• Custom indirect lighting design enhances the architecture and aesthetics, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for study, research and reflection
ICT also designed a geothermal system that heats and cools both the Library and Visual Arts buildings.
