ICT was commissioned to design mechanical, electrical and communications systems for a new 123,000 SF, three-story headquarters facility for Special Operations Command South.  The new headquarters will be utilized to plan and execute special operations in Central and South America, an area of focus, including 31 countries and 10 territories.  Mechanical and electrical systems are designed to withstand a Category 5 storm and include a separate elevated central plan structure.  Key elements of the design include an extensive operations center with a state of the art video wall, an extensive secure operations space designed in accordance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN) requirements, redundant chiller systems, and redundant emergency generation systems.
