GE Aviation Structure and Machining Plant
Auburn University, West Technology Park
The 300,000 SF advanced manufacturing plant produces precision, super-alloy machined parts for GE jet engines that power future commercial and military aircraft and support the vast fleet of GE jet engines already in service. An energy model for LEED was performed showing over 28% energy savings above ASHRAE 90.1.
ICT provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, IT and security design, and construction administration for the facility.
