ICT has a wide range of K-12 design experience to provide you with a cost-effective and sustainable design to meet your school’s needs. From a 240,000 SF multi-year/multi-phase high school project, the renovation of a 1937 Middle School, a new LEED Certified Project with Geothermal HVAC, to a small 6 classroom addition to a new school, we have the staff and wide range of experience to provide a successful project.

We prefer to take an integrated approach to the design and understand the actual use of the building and owner’s needs.  We utilize energy modeling during the early phases of the project to help direct the team with HVAC system selection and to optimize the building envelope for both energy usage and cost effectiveness.   We emphasize “right sizing” the system to the needs of the space.

Our range of experience with K-12 Schools allows us to understand the project budget and provide cost effective solutions and strategies to meet the owner’s budget while maintaining the owner’s maintenance and energy efficiency goals.  Should the owner choose to pursue LEED Certification, ICT has experience with multiple LEED for Schools Certified Projects.
