Fields Engineering Center, Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering

The new Fields Engineering Center houses the entire Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering and provides collaborative learning spaces, flexible teaching areas, and labs, and it gives students access to a circuit board mill, laser cutter, ham radio station, robotics equipment, and more. The building is also used as a learning tool with central monitoring of mechanical systems and rooftop access for solar experimentation.

The Fields Engineering Center is a four-story classroom and lab structure located on the northern edge of the Lipscomb University campus. This location helps fulfill the campus master plan, forming a quad with adjacent buildings. Its scale, form and materials are complementary to existing campus buildings to help strengthen the campus’s character and identity.
