The four-story music building addresses the functional needs of the school by providing 40 faculty studios, 45 practice rooms, a 420-seat recital hall, band room, choral, orchestra, percussion, and chamber music rehearsal rooms, and administrative offices.

• Rehearsal and performance halls can be tuned with acoustical wall panels and retractable curtains.
• Organ studio and recording/mixing lab; computer, electronic & piano labs.

• Exterior walls insulated to minimize heat loss and solar heat gain,
• Energy-saving lights that dim with natural daylight.
• Large underground cistern collects rainfall to be used in and around the building.

• Fly ash in the cement mix releasing less carbon dioxide during the manufacturing process.
