ICT provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design, energy modeling, LEED compliance, analysis and credit documentation, and construction administration for a new 1,200,000 SF convention center and 900,000 SF underground parking garage for the City of Nashville, Tennessee. The interior is supported by 200KW solar panel array on the rooftop of the Grand Ballroom, tying into the building's electrical system; a gray water system utilizing rainwater harvesting and condensate storage helps reduce water use by 40%; central steam and chilled water from downtown district energy system; an integrated smoke EVAC design of exhibit hall, ballroom and concourse utilizing HVAC system; an approximately 800 foot access tunnel below center to access underground supply docks and Bridgestone Arena loading dock, and a 900,000 SF underground parking garage for the City of Nashville.
