The amphitheater is an approximately 6,500 patron facility with a 100-ft wide x 70-ft deep stage and 30,000 SF of Back of House space consisting of a performers’ wing, an office wing, V.I.P. meet and greet area, support service area and kitchen/dining area. The design of support buildings includes a 1,290 SF Sponsor Pavilion and Lounge, 1,573 SF concession areas, and 5,304 SF restrooms.
ICT designed a geothermal heating and cooling system for the main Amphitheater building, which consists of a bore field of (62) 300-feet deep vertical bores. Water from the geothermal field is circulated to a series of water-cooled variable refrigerant flow systems and geothermal heat pumps. Other energy-saving features include energy recovery of the outside air, demand-control ventilation, and variable-speed pumping.
