The new two-story, 29,684 SF Consolidated Communications Facility is set in a campus environment and includes a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The project includes the 6,366 SF renovation of the existing Building 18 to house Airmen Family Readiness Center (AFRC) personnel and the 7,403 GSF renovation of Building 260.

The Consolidated Communications Facility complies with DoD force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria.
Sustainability:
- The building automation system (BAS) was integrated with the existing campus energy management control system.
- The facility design includes a 10,000 SF raised floor area located on the second level to withstand local hurricane conditions.
- Emergency power provisions include a 1750 kW emergency generator with 72 hours of fuel capacity and two separate 500 kVA redundant UPS units.
