The Gaillard Center is a multi-purpose building located in the Historical District of Charleston. Municipal auditorium complex includes renovated performance hall with 1,800 seat multi-purpose auditorium, expanded exhibit space for 38,715 GSF exhibit hall, and new city offices within a municipal office building.
The City of Charleston's Municipal Offices are located adjacent to the Gaillard Municipal Complex in an attached three-story, 80,880 GSF municipal office building. Within the office space is a Municipal Emergency Operational Center (MEOC) designed to a Category IV level construction, allowing it to be operational during and immediately following hurricanes and earthquakes.

Project Highlights:
During a catastrophic event, the City of Charleston essential government entities operate within the MEOC, which is a self-sustaining building with its own server room. The MEOC is operated by an emergency generator during normal electrical outages and emergency situations.
