Hutton Hotel

Nashville, TN

A 1961 modernist office tower was repurposed into an edgy, 4-Star, 248-room boutique hotel. The small floorplate, configuration of the stairs and elevators, as well as the low floor-to-floor height made the building ideally suited for a hotel build-out. Armed with this knowledge, the owner wanted to create a simple, elegant upscale experience in the heart of midtown Nashville.

Writers’ West Studio and East Studio each boast state-of-the-art equipment, isolation areas for guitars and vocals, and their own unique personalities.

Sustainability:

  • Maximum water efficiency,
  • Fully integrated building automation system, and
  • Indoor air quality management.
  • All rooms were designed with sustainability in mind – LED and CFL fixtures, room key card holder disables lights when guests leave room, dual flush toilets, bamboo furniture and reclaimed wood.

Project Highlights:

  • The project included installing a new chiller and boiler system.
