Flood Remediation

Following the 2010 Nashville Flood, ICT evaluated existing conditions and determined what needed to be done to reopen the hotel.  ICT provided engineering design and assistance for testing and replacement of all 25 kV, 5 kV and 480 V cabling and distribution equipment in the Hotel Convention Center, Powerhouse, Opry House, and Pearl Building, including the 25 kV and 5 kV distribution loops on campus. Project included rebuild of four 1,500 ton chillers, replacement of two 1,250 ton chillers, refurbishment of two boilers and a 5 MW gas turbine in the Powerhouse, as well as replacement of 23 air-handling units in flooded areas of the Hotel and Convention Center.
