Pearland and Medical City Alliance are premier health centers serving communities in Northern Tarrant County and Southern Denton County, Texas.  These twin hospitals were the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver hospitals designed and built for HCA Healthcare, receiving LEED for Healthcare v3 Silver certification in 2017. 

Notable design features that helped these facilities obtain LEED Silver certification included: 5 of 9 available water efficiency credits, Thermal Comfort Design, Controllability of Lighting and Thermal Comfort, High Efficiency Chilled Water and Steam HVAC systems that documented 22% Annual Energy Cost Savings, Enhanced Refrigerant Management, and Measurement and Verification of system performance.
