The facility is the first LEED for Healthcare version 4 Gold Certified Facility in the state of Florida. 

Notable sustainable design features include:

  • Condensate collection greywater system saving 1,250,000 gallons per year of potable water usage
  • 30% building energy efficiency and utility savings over ASHRAE 90.1 – 2010 baseline achieving 13 of the available 20 energy and atmosphere optimization credits.
